This is a letter to the person I’m waiting for. I hope you’ll hurry up and meet me. I’m ready for someone to start sticking this out with me. I’m ready to fall asleep next to you. This is a notice to someone I may have already met. We need to have one hundred conversations. I need to be upset at you about something besides your absence. I have a stupid cat video to show you, have you seen it? This is a memo to the one I’ll grow old with. I hope your favorite color isn’t blue, it doesn’t look good on me. I’m glad you don’t mind my slouch or how loud I am. No, I don’t care what you want to listen to in the car, I’m driving. This is a formal announcement to my other half. I need you to be here yesterday. I am unacceptably incomplete. You are losing way too much time, life is short. If you sent me a letter, it got lost in the mail. I’ll send this one twice, just to be safe. When you get this, don’t take too long to write back. Or just email me like a normal person.

Today my mom asked me if I was upset. I said yeah kind of. There’s stuff going on and all that stuff. She nodded and agreed and started to get up from where she’d sat on my bed in my room in my one area of the house that’s mine. I said I’ve talked to my therapist about how quiet things are. How they’ve always been quiet. And I’m a musician so that’s kind of weird for me? Because when I was little we lived with grandma so we had to be quiet And then we lived in the San Gabriel apartment so we had to be quiet And then we were here and we worked from home, especially dad, so we had to be quiet And then I was in a dorm around a lot of people so I had to be quiet And then I was here again so I had to be quiet Again. And that’s weird for a musician. And while I said this she slid off the bed and crept towards the door. And she told me ‘I’m sorry I hear you but I have to pee’. Which makes me think she didn’t really think anything was upsetting me Because it only took me a few seconds to say

I noticed I haven't posted a journal in two years, but I'm on pretty much every day... um... Haven't posted any art 'cause I haven't made any. Just not very good doodles.
